Apple iPod Touch, the first in September 2007. The 2nd Generation iPod Touch was later in September 2008 after the success of the first. It is currently in three memory sizes, 8GB, 16GB and 32GB. It is for both Mac and Windows systems.
Purchase of the iPod, I thought, would be a challenge. Because my father did not know what the touch, it was up to me to find it for him. I had to review how they can be bought on the Apple Web site with free shipping, so I decided to look for it. It was there, the 8GB for £ 169th That was pretty expensive, but it was a lot of memory, so I decided to make one. If you buy, there is an option for free engraving on the back. I decided for this option with the words, "(Amy)" with "Show Girl" underneath. I hope that this is in order. I have not bothered for the £ 3 gift packaging option!
The knowledge that I have the iPod, I was so excited come Christmas. I can only hope that it had arrived in the post sure how things are done, often lost of damaged in the Christmas Rush! Although, when I unwrapped my second last gift, it was my iPod, in a small carton. I opened the box, the iPod classic plastic casing of the iPod came in. It was much bigger than my original Nano, though not much harder. I have in front of the plastic top from the case, and held the iPod in my hand. At the top of the screen, they had a little plastic cover on it to protect it. I peeled it, the glossy screen. I have tried it on a glance at the back. A pleasure to work with the iPod Touch is that the back is actually a mirror! As one, I must admit, is in vain, almost too perfect in the gadget! Then I discovered, it is the trick, near the top of the iPod! It was much smaller than I thought, although it was easy to read, but anyway. Fortunately, it looked great!
I rummaged in the plastic case, to see what I do with: headphones, connection for computer / laptop, a plastic for the iPod and a small black cloth to wipe the screen. This small towel was a nice surprise when I did not know it was, and I want things clean! It was a little instruction booklet, but basically told how to add Apps to your iPod, and how to get him. This brochure is also available in another language, but what I do not know! I could hazard a guess where! There was also a little Product Information Guide, which tells you about licensing agreements, etc.
I was not able to go with my iPod and now, as I wanted, but once I had the chance, the laptop was turned out, finished! I had previously downloaded iTunes, ready for the iPod, but if you do not, then you will be asked if you want to download on iTunes, insert the cable into the laptop. The wire is at the bottom of the iPod, and the other end to a USB 2.0 port. Since most of these systems with multiple ports, it is unlikely that a problem.
There are several ways you can use your music in iTunes. You can do this by selecting and importing songs from CDs, or can be downloaded from the iTunes. If you have any songs on your system, you can also import a file. The iPod can also movies and TV shows, and pod casts. This too can be obtained from iTunes or upload from your computer. A new feature for the touch function is the Apps. These are from the App Store, accessible from iTunes. These are divided into categories so that you can find them easier, such as music, health and sports. There are hundreds of applications to choose from, some of you to pay and others are free. I do not bother for all payment and I have some pretty good Apps on my iPod. My favorites are Eye tricks, this is how it sounds! It is a great list of eye-tricks for you to choose from, you amused for hours! I also really like a maze where you have to a little marble around a maze, avoiding holes, by tilting your iPod. Although my favorite is the lightsaber. Use this if you are on your iPod, and how you do this, it makes a Lightsaber noise! You can also individually Lightsaber image on your screen! You also have the option to save photos from your computer to your iPod.
To download the music, applications and so on to the iPod when you sync your iPod with iTunes. You have the choice to do this, if the device automatically checks the iPod, but if you do not choose to do this, just click on the sync button on the iPod in iTunes! It could not be easier! You can also see how much memory your iPod has. Currently I have 158 songs, 30 Apps, and 59 photos, but still 6.06 GB free! I think that's pretty good! In all iPod said to be around 1750 songs, 10,000 photos, 10 hours of video playback or a combination. That, I think, is very good for 8GB!
There are other features of the Touch, which is also amazing! It has an integrated Internet, also known as Safari, you can access if you are up to Wi-Fi! It is quite fast and you can access any site you like, there are no limits! It also comes with various functions that you can see on the Home screen (you can use this immediately by pressing a single button on the front of the iPod). It comes with a calendar, contacts list, stocks, maps, weather, a clock, a calculator, notes, and on Youtube! Some of which are not too useful for you, but it is nice that they were!
There is also a section of the settings that you can go and manipulate! Here you can adjust the brightness of the screen, change your wallpaper, and a password lock for your iPod. You can also use various settings in the context of music, video and photo items! These settings will simply help make the iPod more enjoyable and personal.
I often have my nano on long walks, I will make a. This means it is important that they do not die when I'm on me and on. But it has a good battery life? Even with audio, it is said, the last around 36 hours. I have my iPod only once since Christmas and only now is the battery to 20%, so I think this is correct. It is also said that 6 hours of video playback, the time is quite reasonable, too.
Of course, the 2nd Generation iPod will cost a little more than the original Touch. The original 8GB costs around £ 120, which is a bit less. So why should you pay a little more to the newer model? Are there real differences? There are actually a few differences! To start with the 2nd Generation has a rounded back, where he was before only a flat mirror. It also has a built-in speaker and volume control on the page so that you can listen to music and videos without headphones plugged in, the band is very good, and it can be heard over the noise of traffic, even when outside with only a headphone in the ear! It is easy to block, simply done by pressing the button at the top of the iPod. To turn, if you are together for longer, and slide the screen when prompted! It could not be easier! Reading on Wikipedia, it says the iPod supports Bluetooth, because the Wi-Fi, but also that Apple does not really say, so it is a feature I would not be advisable! Other than that, there are no real differences! But it was feeling well, an upgraded model of my friend, because I'm usually the last to technologically!
There are obvious problems with this iPod. Since it is a touch screen, there will be fingerprints pretty quickly. However, with a simple cloth is determined, these can be removed. Unfortunately, not all scratches. I have two scratches on my iPod, but luckily they are on their backs, not on the screen itself. The best that the iPod will be protected, whether in a case or a iSock. I have not seen the point in paying as little as £ 10 for a iSock, and I did not like the leather cases are available, so I created my own! Yes, my life in an actual iPod sock - a small naval trainer socks never worn! Fortunately, I can coach in a small sock in my pocket, because it is not too big! In fact, the iPod itself measures 11cm by 5cm, with a thickness of only 5 mm!
So you can buy, if warranted? Now you can do it from Apple itself, as I was, but many other shops for sale, including Argos and curries. I would picture in other stores to sell, but I also know it can be also sold in supermarkets, including Asda and Tesco. It is quite widespread, so you should not be too big a problem, a tracking down!
It is an elegant and fun, it's amazing! This is really the best creation of iPod, and I would recommend the Touch to anyone! I love it so much, in fact, that I decided to call it! I wanted to name it after Anna Faris, but do not want to call Anna, I am for the names of their friends in character, Erica. I never want to be separated from my Erica! Definitely one of the greatest Christmas gifts ever, and well worth the money
